Healthy eating.
Summer is just around the corner (finally!) and my goal is to lose 3 more kilos by Christmas when my friends arrive. I couldn't be more excited to have my friends here to spend our very first Christmas together, on the beach no less. I plan on rocking a santa hat and bikini all day long which means I have three months to eat right and get into a good work out routine. I already do both of these as I do believe keeping fit and being healthy is a lifestyle, not a diet. But with summer nearing and friends visiting and my departure back home to the states being a mere 4 months away, all the more reason to look my best. Lucky for me, my bf is a chef and feels the same way as I do about health and fitness, so I have been capturing some photos of the food we eat (and he prepares) on a regular basis. The food consists of little oils, lots of fruit and veg, white meats and fish and even a little treat every now again. These images are not the most aesthetically pleasing images you have ever seen, but you get the picture...

One-eleven.
Three years ago today I was at a villa in the south of France in a beautiful town known as Nice. It was here that I met my wonderful Aussie bf and fell head over heels in love in a period of only a few days. People had their doubts if we would make it but after time together in San Francisco, Mexico, France, Indonesia and now currently residing in Australia, we sure did prove everyone wrong. Cheers to our three year baby. icc. xxx

EPL.
Australia is a bit behind on new movie releases so I have been patiently waiting for this to come out down under for what seems like FOREVER. I not only love this book and this author, but I just recently returned from Bali and am in ♥ with the place. I get chills watching the trailer and can't wait to see it on the big screen.

All the Wild Horses.
All The Wild Horses - Ray LaMontagne
All the wild horses
All the wild horses
Tell her with tears in their eyes
May no man's touch ever tame you
May no man's reigns ever chain you
And may no man's weight ever defrayed your soul
And as for the clouds
Just let them roll
Roll away
Roll away
As for the clouds
Just let them roll
Roll away
Roll away
Have a lovely day.
It's my first day off since Bali and lucky me, Aaron has the day off as well! We never have the same day off so its a real treat to be able to spend this lovely sunny day with him... we are still in bed and its 10 am. Such a good sleep in this morning :-)

Do you believe in magic?
Is it weird at the age of 27 I wish I had my own little tent, a place I can escape to when I just want to get away?

Such Great Heights.
Today I came home after another long day at work and my wonderful bf drew me a bath. We recently returned from Bali and are dealing with a bad sunburn, so I took a bath in some oil he bought that is apparently really good for the skin. In the spirit of a good bath , I also lit a few tea light candles and of course, put on some tunes. With the easy listening playlist playing, I laid back and relaxed. It felt soooo good. I must start taking baths again; a past time that most definitely needs to be brought to the present. One of the songs that came on brings me back to a few great people and a wonderful time in my life...
Such Great Heights - Postal Service
I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles
In our eyes are mirror images and when
We kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate that God himself
Did make us into corresponding shapes like
Puzzle pieces from the clay
True, it may seem like a stretch, but
Its thoughts like this that catch my troubled
Head when you're away when I am missing you to death
When you are out there on the road for
Several weeks of shows and when you scan
The radio, I hope this song will guide you home
They will see us waving from such great
Heights, 'come down now,' they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away,
'come down now,' but we'll stay...
I tried my best to leave this all on your
Machine but the persistent beat it sounded
Thin upon listening
That frankly will not fly. you will hear
The shrillest highs and lowest lows with
The windows down when this is guiding you home
Cheers to enjoying the simple things in life...
